[503] what is this that stands before me?

merridiaIt's Friday, gonna try to get an update in for a change, since there ARE updates to be had!
Was just starting to get settled into my new position and new office, really making it my own for the longterm, and now it's all getting taken away from me, womp womp. Well, not the position, but the office; they're kicking us out of this big, beautifully empty building and moving me and my techs over to the main dealership. Disappointed!!! I'll still have my own office, but it will be much smaller, and with no beautiful windows to the outside, and in the noisy middle of the service department, with people all over the place, ugh. But at least the job shouldn't change much; it's my techs that I feel for, getting cut down to one hoist apiece off in the far corner of the main shop? I genuinely don't know how they expect us to get work done! They're constantly bouncing between two to eight vehicles in various states of repairs and approvals and parts availability, they won't be able to make any money if half their day is going to be spent parking and bringing vehicles in and out! If nothing else, the sales department is suddenly going to find their sold 'priority' units a lot less... prioritized than they are now. I don't know, doesn't seem sustainable to me! Could be really bad! But we'll see, I guess!
I'm gonna steal so many fuckin' office supplies when I'm back over there. At least it's a long weekend. THREE WHOLE DAYS OFF, WOWWWWWW.
Also got my first proper salaried cheque, and while it was not as comically oversized as my first one (since that had my training week on it as well), it was still about a 50% increase from what I was routinely making before, which is frankly insane. Time to pay off some friggin' debt!! After my All Outstravaganza next month, anyway.
Skipping ahead a few albums in my 1001, because I'm lagging way behind anyway, and, well:
